NUNA studio is a nature-tech start-up responding to the lack of biodiversity in today’s urban environments.

We see an opportunity for urban buildings to be more than passive “enclosures” for human life but ecologically “activated” surfaces, contributing to healthier and more biodiverse cities.

In partnership with world leading research institutions, property developers, impact accelerators and manufacturing companies, we are developing the next generation of nature-based architectural products.

Our first product, the Living Lattice, is an innovative “Vertical Rain Garden” or “Vertical SuDS” made of low carbon bio-materials, with a proprietary geometry that promotes healthy plant growth and increased water retention.

Unlike traditional Living Walls, it is designed to run entirely off of rainwater, making use of available space and water to promote urban biodiversity. It operates passively, capturing rainwater and reducing flood risk in cities.
